COVID-19 – Changes to Lawley Pharmaceuticals operations
During large scale health crises, the continued supply of medicines is an essential service to the community.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lawley Pharmaceuticals is modifying our business operations to accommodate the increased threat the virus represents to us all.
It is our intention to continue to operate throughout the duration of the pandemic, however because 99% of our operations service people outside Western Australian borders there is likely to be transportation delays due to limited air-freight capacity into and out of WA.
Australian domestic transport and logistic companies, including Australia Post, have advised that shipping time frames may be longer than as advertised.
International shipping capacity is also likely to be affected.
We will update our website if and when the situation changes.
Stock Shortages
There are currently no stock shortages of our testosterone creams for men or women.
For the foreseeable future we do not anticipate any shortages of these products.
ProFeme® 10 progesterone cream is out of stock until June 2020 due to the destruction of a raw material supplier’s facility by fire. Patients who are using ProFeme® 10 and will run out before June 2020 need to consult with your doctor for alternative management options.
The staff of Lawley hope all customers and their families remain safe during this stressful time. Rest assured we will continue to keep you updated if additional changes are required to these outlined supply arrangements.
Yours sincerely,
Michael Buckley
Medical Director / Pharmacist
